2021–2022 Brunches

In 2021 we brought brunch to you. 

In 2021, the pandemic meant that we couldn’t gather as we usually do. Instead, members of the Porridge for Parkinson’s committee delivered a brunch for 4-6 people to homes in the GTA on each Sunday in November. In previous years, our wonderful chefs donated their time and food for our brunch events. To show our support for the hospitality industry during the pandemic, we covered their food costs for the 2021 event.

Proceeds supported the Parkinson’s Research Excellence Fund at the Edmond J. Safra Program at Krembil Brain Institute, Toronto Western Hospital, UHN.

In 2022 we delivered a special brunch pantry package. 

Buoyed by the success of our curbside delivery in 2021, we were pleased to offer brunch delivery again on November 6th, 2022. We offered a wonderfully curated brunch package personally delivered by a P4P 2022 Committee member. The package included a lovely assortment of non-perishable items – pancake mix, maple syrup, coffee, chocolate bonbons, and granola.
