As always, our silent auction was one of the highlights of Porridge for Parkinson’s. This year, we have outdone ourselves with over 80 items available for bidding. We’re grateful to our silent auction donors for their generous support in bringing you these packages.

A culinary trip to Tuscany at the Cortona Resort & Spa, an eighteenth-century villa, includes a cooking class and dinner with the chef. Set in an evergreen park, the Tuscan-style buildings are surrounded by formal gardens, a swimming pool and a solarium. This unique Tuscany resort with its 26 elegantly furnished rooms lies hidden just a short mile from the centre of the marvellous Etruscan town of Cortona.

Porridge for Parkinson’s took place on Sunday, November 12, at Evergreen Brick Works, a showcase for green design and an award-winning public space. The event raised over $270,00 (net) for Parkinson’s research and features Toronto’s top chefs and restaurants and committed volunteers, sponsors and donors.
